Stourbridge centre re-opens its doors after major refurbishment

Our Stourbridge garage has re-opened its doors to customers following a major refit.

The garage, in Camp Hill, Wordsley, has been serving the Stourbridge community for 75 years and re-opened on Monday 6th October, offering upgraded reception and waiting areas for customers.

The garage first opened its doors in the 1950s and became part of Team Protyre in 2014.

Having closed temporarily following a fire in March last year, its long-serving team are pleased to be back providing trusted motoring services to the people of Stourbridge.

A comfortable environment for customers

Customers visiting the garage are now able to make use of comfortable new reception and waiting areas.

The waiting area includes a choice of sofas or stools and a table, for those who may wish to work while they’re waiting.

A hot drink station is available for customers to help themselves to tea and coffee, and there is the option to watch their vehicles undergoing their MOT on a screen while they wait.

Our long-serving team

Our team at Stourbridge includes three long-serving members of staff who have almost 90 years of experience at the garage between them.

Workshop manager Gary Mills, centre manager Donna Mullis and vehicle technician Simon Pardoe have been part of the team for 31 years, 15 years and 42 years respectively.

Donna joined as a part-time retail assistant and has been supported in her career to gain extra qualifications and work her way up to become centre manager.

Donna said: “The refit is beautiful and we’re all delighted to be back in Stourbridge.”
