Finding Ford servicing

Servicing is an extremely important aspect of vehicle ownership, as it will help to ensure that your car is kept in good condition, performs well, and is safe to drive. Regular servicing at a trusted garage also ensures that professionals can identify and address minor issues before they develop into more complicated and costly problems.

Maintain Your Warranty With Regular Ford Servicing

When purchasing a new Ford vehicle, you will receive a warranty which will provide cover for a range of defects and repairs that are needed within a specific mileage limit or period of time. In order to maintain the validity of that warranty, you'll need to have your vehicle serviced at intervals that are stipulated by Ford in the documents given to you at the point of purchase.

Although in the past these services needed to be carried out at major Ford dealerships, there are now fewer restrictions in place. Now, all you need to do is ensure that your service book is stamped during your service and that you're keeping accurate records of any repairs and work that is conducted.

When dropping your Ford off to be serviced at a Protyre garage, we ensure that only approved lubricants and parts are used, which will be listed in the manufacturer's guidelines.

Future-Proof Your Ford Vehicle

While selling your vehicle might not be something that's on the agenda right now, ensuring that your car has a comprehensive service record will be important when the time comes to sell or upgrade. Many garages and private buyers will only purchase vehicles with a full service history, so this is something to keep in mind from the outset.

Protyre Servicing Options

If you're ready to book in for a Ford service, we offer three principal options.

Bronze

Our Bronze service is suitable for Ford drivers who want a check-up between their standard service, which makes it a particularly good option for those who really cover the miles. It involves a 27-point check that includes a comprehensive engine inspection, oil and filter change, steering and exhaust system check, antifreeze top-up, and more.

Silver

Our Silver service is ideal for Ford drivers who are looking for a comprehensive check-up. We recommend that this type of service be carried out every six months or every 6,000 miles. This service involves a 48-point check, including all aspects covered in the Bronze package. It also includes checks on the fan/alternator and auxiliary belts, inspection of lights, battery, driveshaft, joints, gaiters and boots, wheel bearings and suspension, callipers, brake shoes, TPMS valves, and seat belts.

Gold

Our Gold service is essentially the equivalent of an annual service. This is a good option for Ford drivers who need a comprehensive check-up or who have purchased a vehicle that hasn't been serviced in a while. This involves a 59-point check, which includes everything in the Silver service, with the addition of checks on the pollen filter, fuel filter, radiator, and replacement of the air filter as standard.

All parts that are fitted during any of our service packages are guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles.
